Hi Joe, Just know what your getting when buying from Binder Books.com. I bought mine from them for my 340U and after reading thru the manuals they referenced manuals that did not come with the $169 complete set I ordered. I e-mailed them several times and have yet to get an answer after 2 months. I do have the IT manual for the IH300 and it's ok but covers alot of models and is good for a very experienced mechinic. The ones from binders contain more info for a specific model than IT. What was really worth the money was the IH parts CD that I got from Buckeye Tractor. The CD covers "most" all IH tractors under 100hp. For $75 a great deal. the "W" and "I" series were left out. T_Bone

Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
