Hello all. I'm working on getting my hands on my first tractor and I got a pretty good deal (i think) staring me in the face. Problem is i cannot identify the tractor positively and I was hoping for some help.
It LOOKS like the 706 cause of the white panels on the sides of the engine bay but the engine itself is definately a four banger. As i understand it the 706 didn't come with a 4 so i'm concerned i'm going to corner myself into a place where i can't find parts cause i don't know what parts i'm looking for.
I'm going out this weekend to put the tank back on it and see if it won't fire up. If its does i'm on the hook for 900 bucks for it, in installments even... almost too good to pass up if it starts.
