The shaft that shifts my IH454 into Low, Reverse, and High broke off even with the transmission housing. So I took everything apart and put a new shaft/arm in and put everything back together. Now my three point goes up and stays up, will not go back down. I have it apart again, and I really think my problem is, inside the cover there is an arm that moves with my 3 point lever, and when I took everything apart originally, the arm was dangling from the cover, I thought it fell off this pin that it lines up with perfectly, so I put it on the pin and put a snap ring on it... Does anyone know if I did this wrong, and if so, where this arm should go??? I have it apart right now (for the 3rd time) and want to make sure its right this time! Any help is greatly appreciated.
