Mark the relationship between the pump and the adapter so you can reinstall it in the same position. Wire the throttle lever on the pump in the full throttle position to hold the governor weights in place inside the pump. The pump drive shaft has a dimple on one side of the tang. When reinstalling the pump just match that dimple with the one inside tie pump and reinstall the pump in the same location as you marks.
