BE SURE THE POINTS ARE OPENING REMOVE THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND CRANK THE ENGINE THE POINTS SHOULD BE OPENING AND CLOSING WHEN THE DISTRIBUTOR SHAFT IS ROTATING. BED SURE THE CONDENSOR WIRE IS NOTING TOUCHING THE DISTRIBUTOR HOUSING. ALSO CHECK THE ROTOR BUTTON TO BE SURE THE TIP IS NOT BROKEN OFF SO THAT THE TIP ROATES OVER THE BRASS CONNECTORS IN THE DISTRIBUTOR CAP.BE SURE THE COIL WIRE IS PUT IN THE CORRECT PLACE.
