Hi Glenn, we live in eastern Ontario and when Dad had B-414D, 434 and 384, all BD-154 UK Diesels, we used a 1000 Watt lower rad hose heater in the B-414D and the 434. When he traded 434 for 384, he made dealer install a re-circulating tank heater. I thank tank heater was 800 Watt. In all cases on the coldest days, plug tractor in for an hour and it was good to start.
