HI Lloyd: I went and tried that info you sent, I don't know who it is from. I had my generator all apart because It had a bad bushing on the commutator end. When I reassembled it I sandpapered the commutator and made sure the brushes were setting properly. With tractor going I didn't notice any sparks from the commutator and brushes, so I didn't know if I had a working unit. After tractor ran for about 10-15 minutes I noticed that the amp. meter was reading almost 10 amps. charging, so I must be ok. Thanks! Bob
