sounds more carb freeze up the exhaust mainifold has a heat riser in it and it must work you may have to take it a part to find out and if you do clean out the inside of the manifold good so the heat can get to the carb. you will have to remove the for 3/8" screws to get the manifold apart if it is working put a piece of tin along side of engine to hold the heat from engine around carb good lock
