I finally got time to put things back together today and put the front unit of the mounted picker back on. Late this afternoon I picked a load of corn with it and it didnt appear to slip a bit! In the end all I did was clean up what I could and tighten up the adjusting nut. I had attempted to tighten the nut before with little results. I had done this with the front unit on so I was basically standing on my head. It was much easier with the front unit off! There is also a possibility that the brake was sticking so taking the cover off and cleaning things up may have helped also. Thanks so much for everyones help. Hopefully it will at least get me through this years picking.Thanks again! Lee
