Smitholm, Thanks a lot for the info, I didn't know there was a discrepancy in serial number breaks. The break at 149769 makes a lot more sense to me in light of my numbers. Guess I can never get rid of this tractor, it's such a very late 1947, and maybe we were born on the same day. If the 149769 number is correct my tractor was probably built on the last day of 1947 production. I'll have to look at a 1947 calendar and see what the last day of production might have been. I'm in eastern Nebraska, just south of Omaha. What are some of your casting dates, and date codes on the Delco-Remy components on your tractor? Thanks a lot for the info. Jim
