The white demonstrator program was done in 1950. IH could and did paint tractors any color the customer wanted, for an extra fee. Yes, a dealer could have done it afterward, obviously. At least one 1940 Farmall A was repainted white and toured county fairs in the south in 1940-1941. Earlier tractors were known to have been repainted. white for the 1950 program as well, but again, this was a repaint. There are so many white tractors out there I'm really starting to wonder whats going on. I've seen white 39s before myself, but there seems to be absolutly no information on these, and nobody remembers them being displayed. There is so much information on the 1950 Mid Century Program that the difference makes me suspicious about people Do not use me as an authoritative subject- I have no wish to be sued by someone who just got ripped off!
