I use 30 wt non detergent in both of my H's. I buy my oil at Tractor Supply. So far it has been very successful. On the right side of the oil pan there are two petcocks. One is the about a half inch higher than the other. If oil runs out of the lower one when you open it your oil level is OK. If it runs out of the top one it is full. When changing the oil I open both petcocks and when it begins to run out of the lower I close it and add until it runs out of the top one. It takes somewhere around a quart or less after it begins to run out of the lower one until it is full. Ed
