Well that bale could weigh in at some place between 1200 and 1500 Lbs and on a 300 it will be vary vary light in the nose . And for safety myself i would want no less then 600Lbs. up ft. And that may not be enough . We do 4x4 rounds and handle them for the most part with a skid steer that has a lifting capacity of 1750 lbs. BUT when you handle one of the 4x4 silage bales you want to use the old skid steer with the rear weights . That same 4x4 round silage bale on the three point bale spear even makes the 806 really light in the ft. Keep in mind that it does not take much to flip a tractor over and you do not want to be the one we read about . So add weight to the ft. more is better .
