Red Dave's hair dryer method should do the trick. The key is PATIENCE. Take your time and the results should be worth it. This all assumes that you used the self adhesive decals with the clear backing. You might have to use another method if you used a water soluble decal.
I have a friend with an H and he used laser cut vinyl decals. Each letter is independent of the others and the results look fantastic! They take a bit more time to put on, but the final result is far nicer than the "bumper sticker" type.
