There is probably a wastegate model that might work by now. IH Blue Ribbon service book has the intake and exhaust pressures listed with the pump specs, most exhaust pressures run about 2 PSI less than the intake for a good match. For best results an intercooler should be used no matter what turbo is used above 15 PSI. Compressor outlet temps really start to climb, even 190 degree water temp will cool the air back down. Hugh McInnes Turbochargers book shows how the air outlet can be 400 degrees or more as the pressure rises.
