I'm certain the loader on mine has had something to do with the wear and tear on the steering. The front steering arm off the gear box had been replaced before I got it and needed replaced again when I bought it. I ordered a used gear and arm assembly from JP Tractor salvage and replaced them. The worm gear is still somewhat loose, but it's not getting any worse. Mine has an aftermarket Char-Lynn torque generator in the long steering rod beside the motor and a priority flow divider valve which robs enough flow that I lose my 3 point control at less than about 1/3 throttle. 3 point still does not respond well, maybe due to the cable feedback instead of the later rods.
