The number is stamped on top of the left frame rail, just behind the clutch housing. The number is also stamped on a tag that is riveted to the toolbox under the fuel tank. The engine also has a serial number stamped on it, you will find it on the left side on a machined flat spot just above the water inlet. Unless the engine has been changed at some point, it's serial number will be the same as the ones stamped on the frame rail and on the toolbox tag.
