All fast hitch valves were double acting until you got to the 06 series. The 2 remote valves could be set for either one way or two way pressure by turning the knob on the valves between the clutch and brakes. If the tractor had 3 valves with no FH the third valve was adjustable between single or double pressure as well.
I don't know what the issue is with yours but you can remove that valve you added and just hook to one of the others and have two way pressure on the original valves or one way depending on how you set the knob below the console. All three of my tractors with FH (300, 460, 560) have 2 way pressure on the hitch and always have since new.
