I looked in my pre 1940 IH equipment book an that spreader must have been built after that. I take it you have checked with case-IH an not available so next thing is make those dogs as they were pretty crude so could be made on farm or machine shop. If you fix it my suggestion is to lay a clean layer of straw on the chain & move it with a bar or tool making sure it's not froze down when you go to spread. If you abuse this it could break that gear then you have scrap iron. Good luck GENE
