My friend and co-worker Dan Paulsen (who died in December at the age of 46) loved this old H Farmall. He dedicated his life to improving pre-hospital care in Iowa, by practicing, teaching and leading in the field of Emergency Medical Services. In memory of him, I have given her a little make over. It is still just an old row-crop tractor, but it has a lot of ambulance decorations, including a 130 decibel 3 phase siren. It has over a dozen flashing red blue and clear LED emergency lights. The decals are modified copies of the logo's and symbols on the Pocahontas Community Hospital Ambulances. I look forward to driving it in as many parades and tractor rides as I have time to get to. I think of 'ol Danno every day, and I will try to always live up to the high standards he set in health care. Dr Darwin Schossow
