Steve, Take a look over in the serial numbers along the left side on this forum. I believe you saw the beginning s/n for 1957 was 5 digits starting with 17xxx when in fact the number shown is 1734 (only 4 digits) so the 1957 year 450 tractors would fall within serial numbers 1734 through 21870 and s/n 21871 was the first 450 made in year 1958. It appears 1957 was a very good year for producing the 450's of which no. 16145 was one of them. Too much nice clean thin Colorado air out there I'm thinking, Hal.
