I think that I read somewhere that only the last 500 or SA's had the 123 engines. The serial #'s had something that indicated it had the 123 engine. (SAA-1 ?) I was at a local sale here a few years ago that had one on it. The guy is a Farmall collector and had a lot of tractors and the sale was well advertised. I was surprised that it didn't go for a lot more than it sold for, as the ones with 123 engines were fairly rare. If I remember right, it went for only about two grand. I had bought a B earlier for about the same money. He also had an M-1 Grand made by IH in an original shipping box that went for more money. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
