303 is 20w oil. Like Allan I have found it gets pretty thick in cold weather. The 460 uses a filter on the suction side of the pump. Any moisture in the oil or dirt in the filter and the pump starves for oil. You will probably need to change the filter at least every fall if you want it to work in the winter.
