The friction portion was gutted. I had to buy those internal parts from FP Smith. Mine had the SMD fuel tank and SMD steering post. The saw tooth throttle was welded to a flat plate that bolted to the original throttle hole and the steering shaft passed through this plate. The throttle dropped down the right side of the casting under the gauges and then they welded a washer onto that casting and then drilled a hole through it to pass the throttle cross shaft through to the left side. It worked well. The tractor came from Minnesota maybe 10 years ago.
