Depends on engine serial numbers on production tractors. Open type nozzles started engine serial number 8927 in a 600. Think that would be in September 56. Head 278292R1 started D-350 serial # 11378. Think those started in November of 57 in a 650. Have information that head 260292R5 was changed to R6 D-350 serial 6689 in a SWD9. Can't find when 260292r6 was changed to R7. That's probably the date you need to figure out what was original to the 600. Think the only change needed to have the angled injector inlet on those heads was to change the injector holder. IH did make a change over package to put open type nozzles in non angled holders.
