I forget the size of the mesh, but it is close to 1/4 inch and ok. IH installed the screen before painting and sprayed the whole thing, getting some paint on the radiator. I put the screen in the Super M I just finished after I painted the grill, I like the looks better than the other tractors I have done. So, it's your decision.
