There was another guy with a different thread that had a rod knock and just changed one piston and maybe some of the bearings. He's back into his engine now. If you have bad crank bearings, then you certainly have other issues as well. I'd go through the engine if I was going to go to that much trouble and make sure to get it right the first time. I don't like doing a major repair and spending that money twice.
