Bought my 300U last year . Hyd.oil looked great however, the internal screen was plugged and sucked together. So my advise is use Hytran ( In that small amount of oil your not going to save much going generic) and check the internal screen in the reservoir tank. New hyd. pumps cost a lot and new ones don't fit 300u plumbing correctly so you'll need to find a good used one if its bad. So don't tempt fate. Tony
