try to locate a copy of motors truckand tractor manual 1954 page714,716. The #1 piston is a TDCcompression stroke there should be a timing mark in the center of the inspection hole in the flywheel housing or when the pointer is adjecent to the crankshaft pulley.Firinf order is 1342
