A miss can be many things. Check the spark at all 4 plug wires and make sure you get a spark at all 4 that jump a 1/4 inch gap or more with a nice blue/white spark. You may have a bad distributor cap or rotor. Or it could be the distributor bushing letting the point not open the same at all 4 lobes which would also cause that as will a valve not set as they should be. Valves tend to close the gap over the years so then they do not close all the way and cause odd problems
