carb freeze

If anyone can please help its cold out vary cold, and the carb on my 460 keeps freezeing up what can I do about this.Is there a heet sheld for it, is the engine not heeting up enought, what will fix this problem.it just coughts and runs bad no power on warm days it will run great.thanks DAN
