I purchased a used post hole digger and only by chance found the driveline for it. Well, the driveline for it is a bit old and used up and could possibly use a tiny bit of grease....but that is not the big problem with it. The spline side on the driveshaft for the PTO is fine and will be better with grease, but the other end with the keyway is kinda destroyed. Split on the key way setscrew. The driveline is 1 inch square...and the drive end is 1 inch round with keyway. The universal joint has 7/8 inch caps. Any options available for getting a universal joint and the end drive would be useful. I dont know if I can change the driveshaft into the gearbox or not. I have not delved into it that much. I think of that as an option as well as round shimming the gearbox driveshaft round and extending the keyway outward. Prefer to find a 1 inch pipe/u-joint like it used to have on it. I can send pics later if that would help.
