There at least three bolts to the axle housing, one for each supporting rib. Managed to get mine off without removing the wheels. My left wheel would not come off, heat, penetrating oils applied for weeks did not help. In the end, took whole axle housing, axle and wheel off together. Engineering firm had to use 10 ton press to get the wheel off axle
