Thanks for quick reply. I have been looking for a week now and have come to the same conclusion. I might be able to repair the strainer, but I have had no luck with the element either. What do all these guys driving their restored 240's and sending photos of them to anyone who will look use as an element? Yes. That was a shot because I AM jealous of them. Just thought that current owners of these old girls have to have some way of filtering the hydro fluid. That is why I am pleading in this large YT audience. Thanks again.
