Paul, Your TD 6 is a 1940 model. The series started at serial number 501 and approximately 2500 were built each year through 1947. 1948 serial numbers started at 17373. On this basis, the 1941 model started somewhere in the neighborhood of serial number 3000 which means yours is a late 1940. Also see my e-mails to you for more information. Harold H
