Phlog, we haul all of our smaller tractors, ie. Super C, Ford 2N, Massey 25...on a 7000 lb trailer, these trailers generally weigh about 2000-2100 lbs, so you've got roughly 5000 lbs of carrying weight. With a 140 you should be OK with a 5000 lb trailer. We've even hauled the Super H on ours out of necessity occasionally. With a 7000 lb trailer you will need a brake controler, won't with a 5000 lber (in NY anyway). We run a chain through a clevis in the drawbar to the hooks at the rear sides of the trailer, then a heavy duty (5000lb) ratchet strap through an anchor point in the front to draw it tight against the rear chain. It's much easier than two chains and two ratchet binders! You ought to be able to find a fellow tractor enthusiast to haul this for you reasonable if it's a one time haul. Pete
