Don't think the M has a pin in to remove in the belly pump coupling. Mine has a "cross type" coupling. You have to turn it so the one of the crosses is vetical. Then it will just slide out when you lower the pump. I used 4 3/8 inch rods and nuts screwed into the bolt holes to lower mine out. If you do it that way, be sure the rods do not unscrew. That thing is heavy and you sure do not want it to fall. You can use the tractor with the pump removed, but be aware that all the clutch parts are exposed to dust and dirt. If there are any oil leaks at all, everything in there will be covered in no time. I'd make a cover to put over the opening in the bottom and plug up the holes in the sides with something.
