The 1066 will be a much better cold weather starter than the Deere, have never had an IH of ours gel up but ever Deere has ( 2840, 2950, 3155). IHs dual pto much hander than swaping shafts on the deere. On the other hand this was a series of Deere that made life tough for the IH dealers. Idd get the red one but then I hate paying greens high parts cost, I'm also 45 miles from Waterloo IA and we have a surpluss of green guys. kev
