I would love another M, but my truck is a 97 Dodge Ram with the 318. I don't think it is up to hauling an M that far. Especially since 200 bales of hay make the engine knock like crazy even on premium and OD turned off. Chrysler replaced the first engine but this one is just as bad. Too bad International doesn't still make light duty trucks. ____________________ I have hauled a couple wide front H's from extreme western IL to north central Ohio with my Dodge Ram 318, and wouldn't hesitate to haul an M. Maybe you need to have a discussion with your Dodge dealer. Topics could be the shortcomings of your truck, or even your driving habits. My 1999 has about 10,000 mil;es on it with the trailer attached with no problems at all. This has been much happier than my experience with the !@@#$% Ford it replaced.
