Rusty, I have a '41 B and 16HP is pretty close. The newer tractors have a lot to offer over the B like hydraulics, 3-point hitch, most are Diesel powered and there are a lot of implements and equipment available to make any job easier and faster. The downside is cost. A new JD compact tractor can easily cost $15,000 if you buy a loader and brushhog with it. My company bought one last year with just a mower and it was $13K. My preference would be a Super H or a Super M with a wide front and a loader, power steering and a 3-point. It might cost me $5,000, but I'd have a solid tractor that would do everything I want. That comes out to $10K in my pocket, with interest. My 2¢, Phil
