The clutch housing in my F-20 was full of mouse nest and mouse droppings. Mouse droppings turn in to a real nasty sticky mess over time and it gummed up the clutch real good, and it wouldn't release, just like yours. Took it apart and cleaned it thoroughly. To clean up the pressure plate I started the engine and held sandpaper against the flywheel. Works, but be careful. After I put it back together it works nice and smooth. When reassembling, don't release the pressure on the springs until you get the shaft back in the bearing to center the clutch plate. Good luck.
