Splitting 460 to replace seals

Would anyone have any hints on replacing seals which are apparently on front side of trans. We have been told two seals which encompass pto and main drive shaft-one inside the other are to blame for our excessive hytran leak. also both steering shaft seals on power assisted steering box leak.
Can the seals on steering be replaced without taking unit off?
