Hired Paint Job $?

What should I expect to pay to have an H or M painted? What part of the price is for removing old paint/rust? How much to just prime and paint? How much to install decals? I am sure the amount of work done varies by the workman as well as the price but I would appreciate anyones cost experience. I'm located in western Iowa. Also what do you look for as to a good job vice a great job? I'm not into orginal complete restoration just looks ok for a parade and won't deteriorate further. Thanks.
