I've got a BushHog/Freeman front loader on my M. It's mid-70's model and works well. I also have a 3pt hitch. My solution isn't elegant, but it's cheap, and it works! I installed a ball-type shut-off valve in each hydraulic line, the two to the loader, and the one to the hitch. When I want to use the 3pt hitch, I move the loader to a height that I feel I can live with for a while, and turn the levers on those two valves to the "off" position. The loader is then locked at that level, and the 3pt hitch is ready to use. Turning off the 3pt line allows me to open up the loader again. Another solution is to install some additional hydraulic valves and more lines. I haven't had to use both at the same time, so mine will likely stay like it is for a while.
