I think you'll be ok. The touch control unit will lift around 750 lbs and the 3-point limit of 600 lbs that someone mentioned sounds about right to me. I have a 5' pull type shredder and it doesen't weigh 500lbs, my 5' box blade is less than that and a 5' disc shouldn't exceed 500 lbs either. If the front comes up, try adding some weight to the front end. These old tractors are a lot stouter than you would think.
