Andy, tell us the manual you refer to and the page number. Some of us will have the same manual, but not ALL of them as you say you have. Think this through- If the first mark is TDC, then the mark that follows closely behind it is AFTER TDC. If the second mark (some tractors have one only) is TDC, then the mark that closely preceeds it must be BEFORE TDC. How can it be reasoned any other way? Jim Becker is right on this one, as usual.
