IH Paint

Have decided to abandon the CaseIH 2150 Red in favor of PPG epoxy primer with an acrylic or urethane topcoat. I have put too much heart and soul into this to use cheap paint! My paint guy claims that the engine block should only be coated with an acrylic product because the urethanes will not hold up to the heat. Has anyone an opinion about this? Also, does anyone have the paint code (PPG) that matches the Case IH 2150 Red? Thanks, John
