Thank you for your responses to my question concerning the steering arm of my Super A. Finally got that steering arm off! I used a strong makeshift puller and gave it a few good whacks while under tension.
Yes, the shaft is tapered, so a small axial movement freed it up completely. Both shaft and arm are undamaged. In the end I didn't need the acetylene/oxygen torch. I think I should give credit to the penetrating oil for this result. If you give it time, it is a great help. Thank you all! Regards, Hendrik
