Putting on *%#^* tire chains..any secrets ?

The only part of my Farmall I don't like is putting chains on for winter snow plowing ( I have AG tires). I lay the chains out flat on the garage floor, then back the 130 about midway on the chains, then the fun begins. It always seems that the chain is too short..have to keep pulling slack. (chain gets caught up on the tracks) and finally after a few colorful words..they go on. Does anyone know of an easier way to install chains over AG tires ?
