Thanks to all who answered my questions on the 350U and torque amplifiers (1-13,14-2001). Checked out tractor shortly thereafter and purchased ( I don't think the wife bought the part about needing the tractor to mow two heavily wooded acres!). My question now is about the serial number plates. I located the plate on the right side of the bellhousing but it appears to be blank. I guess that these numbers were painted on instead of being stamped. Is there any way of telling what year this tractor is. I believe that one person said these where only made in 57&58. Tractor has gas engine,TA,live pto and adjustable lower hitch arms. Thanks Robert
